My name is Samantha Jo McGuire and I am a hair designer, makeup artist, and self-proclaimed fashionista born and raised in Brownsburg, Indiana! I created this website not only to showcase my work through an online portfolio of sorts, but also to highlight my business specials to everyone!
I am so blessed and honored to be working at Design 414 in Brownsburg, Indiana - and I hope to service your hair and makeup needs soon!

I have been raised in salon environment since High School - working as a receptionist in a local salon. Since then I have always had a passion for the beauty industry, whether it was keeping up with the latest products, or trying out the hottest hair trends - I knew the beauty industry was for me! Upon graduating from Brownsburg High School, I attended Butler University on Scholarship for one semester before deciding to follow my dreams and beginning cosmetology school! I attended Paul Mitchell the School Indianapolis - where I excelled at my education focusing my talents on color, customer service, and product knowledge! I strive to provide the best customer service around - and I will work to show you the Styled By Samantha difference!
I have a true passion for any and all things related to hair color! From a simple root touch up to a whole color transformation - I am your girl! I specialize in block color, foiling, and expertly placed dimensional colors. I pride myself on my wide coloring ability - from natural sun-kissed highlights to a rocking pink mo-hawk, I love to create a look as individual as my clients! I use the best possible color for my clients, including: Kenra Color, Schwarkopf Color, and Wella Blondor - so you can always count on quality products, and quality results during your color service!
From long hair that needs a simple trim, to my clean cut men client's - I have the cutting tools to make over your look! I enjoy giving a through consultation to discuss each client's face shape, daily routine, and hair desires before deciding on the perfect cut and style for each guest. From a simple shear cut, to expertly placed razor texturizing - I know what your hair needs!
Whether it's senior prom, a company function, or even a wedding you will be attending - an Up-do style is a perfect option! You have the special outfit, now you need the special hairstyle to complete your look! From elegant curls to an organic up-do - any of your style options can be achieved! In need of a style overhaul? I will work to show you the best products and tools to recreate a perfect style for yourself, on your own! Whether it's learning a new curl technique for a date night, or learning the easiest way to blow out your curls to a smooth and voluminous style - I will show you the tricks of the trade to make every day a "great hair day"!
Calling all wedding parties: I love doing updo's! Curling the hair, braiding the hair, to ornate up-do styles - I love the joy and excitement that wedding parties provide! Whether it's hair for just the bride, or for your entire wedding party I would love to take care of your hair and makeup needs on your very special day. Every wedding party booking includes a hair/makeup trial run before the big day, to calm your nerves and allow us to plan out the perfect look for your day! On-site hair and makeup is also an option for an additional fee!
